Are you interested in getting counseling but not sure if you can afford it?
The high cost associated with counseling has traditionally been one of the main reasons people shy away from getting help. For many people using health insurance is not an option because they fear their confidentiality will be broken or they do not have health coverage. Health insurance companies require office like ours to give out a mental health diagnosis on anyone who uses their health insurance. In some cases, insurance companies request providers to disclose very sensitive information.
RCS has created an ideal solution for those wanting to protect their confidentiality and receive counseling for an affordable price. We utilize a solution focused 4o minute session model. This approach allows us to drastically discount the regular price of counseling and assist you with finding solutions to your issues much faster.
How This Approach Works?
Solution focused therapy is an approach based on solution building and predominantly explores your current situation. This approach is focused on finding quick solutions as opposed to processing problems from the past. The approach acknowledges your past but helps you identify and implement new strategies and approaches.
What are my counselors qualifications?
Our counselors hold a Master’s degree or Doctoral degrees in counseling and have successful passed the state licensing exams. Each counselor has extensive experience working with families, couples, teens and women.
How do I get Started?
The first step is to call or office or email us. You will need to provide us with a brief description of why you need services. This will help us place you with the best counselor. Once we have some basic information we can get you scheduled. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 210-523-4200.
How many times will I have to go?
The number of sessions you need is very dependent on the type of issues you are working through currently. During your initial appointment, your counselor will be able to give you some idea. In general, we tell clients to plan for at least 5 sessions.
How much does it cost?
$70.00 per session for couples, individuals, and family counseling. We do require you provide us with a credit card at the time you book your appointment. Your card will ONLY be charged if you no show or cancel with less than 24 hr notice two or more times. This policy is in place in order to compensate our counselors for the effort and time they made to show up for the appointment. We do have secure HIPPA compliant credit cards procedures. The no show/late cancel charge is $50.00.
