Richardson
Counseling Services (RCS) provides professional counseling
services to Couples, Adolescents, and Individuals. RCS mission is
to provide products and services that will enrich the lives of clients
and promote healthy families. RCS specialty areas include: couples
counseling, child/adolescent behavior problems, and grief/loss counseling.
RCS is located in San Antonio, Texas and was established in 2001
by psychotherapist Kirleen Richardson Neely.
Mrs. Neely has worked in the mental health
field for over twelve years. She has gained valuable knowledge
and experience through collaborations and employment with many prominent
social service organizations: including Harris County Mental Health
and Mental Retardation, Spaulding for Children, Deplechin Children
Center, Jaycee’s Residential Treatment Center, Neighborhood
Centers INC., Child Protective Services, and Kids at the Cross Road.
She has served in an array of capacities including psychotherapist,
consultant, supervisor, caseworker, case manger, and seminar facilitator.
Mrs. Neely is licensed by the Texas State
Board of Professional Counselors. She is a certified
anger management specialist and has extensive experience
working with depression. Mrs. Neely also facilitates seminars on
oppositional defiant behavior in adolescents/children, depression
and grief and loss. Mrs. Neely incorporates her Christian beliefs
with an eclectic counseling style. She is a trained Prepare/Enrich
Christian based couple’s counselor. She believes that Christian
principals are a key ingredient for healthy relationships. She has
designed and developed “The Colors of Life Behavior Kit”.
This product assists parents, schools and caregivers with teaching
children how to navigate through child behavior problems.
Mrs. Neely holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Sam Houston
State University and a Masters degree in Counseling from Prairie
View A& M University. She is a proud member of the Houston Area
Counseling Association and is supported by her husband and her beautiful
daughters.
